Last week, pork producers were invited to participate in a virtual conference for two days of learning. The conference provided speakers who addressed the market, animal health strategies and new biotechnologies for the industry. Two AMVC veterinarians were able to participate virtually and give producers some insight. Dr. Paul Thomas was a panelist for the session titled Next Generation along with three other young veterinarians who discussed topics like technology for the future, role transitioning during Covid-19 and what young professionals are looking for in an employer.
In addition, Dr. Max Rodibaugh of AMVC Swine Health Services was featured in the Biosecurity is Economic Security session. The video footage cam from a previous interview where he shared insight on biosecurity measures.
