Bob Blomme

Bob Blomme, DVM

Dr. Robert (Bob) Blomme is a 1987 ISU graduate in Farm Operations.  He completed his DVM at the same institution in 1990.  Bob and his wife Linda are both natives of Victor, IA and have been married 25 years.  They are the parents of Courtney, Jay, Allison, and Andrew.  Bob has a food animal interest, regularly serving cattle and swine clients.  Bob also has an interest in animal handling and behavior.  Hobbies include farming, American history, and ISU athletics.

Jodi Pettit

Jodie Pettit, DVM

Dr. Jodie Pettit graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001 and is a past President of the Iowa Veterinary Medical Association.  She is also on the ISU Veterinary Diagnostic and Preventive Animal Medicine Advisory Board and on the Timber Creek Charities Board of Directors.  Her special interests include equine medicine, food animal surgery, and large animal reproduction.  Jodie and her husband Rick have a beef cattle herd, four horses, several cats, and a spoiled rotten Black Lab named Diva.  Jodie enjoys riding her Harley, riding horses, shooting and hunting in her free time.

Travis Hargens

Travis Hargens, DVM

Dr. Travis Hargens joined AMVC in 2011 and is a 2008 graduate of Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine.  Travis is originally from Denison, IA, and now does predominantly food production animal veterinary medicine with a feedlot and cow/calf focus.  His passion is in bovine reproduction including embryo transfer services. Travis is American Embryo Transfer Association certified. Prior to joining AMVC, Travis worked in Oklahoma serving stocker, cow/calf and feedlot operations.  Travis and his wife, Kate, have three children, Gage and a set of twins, Jack and Millie. The Hargens family enjoys being in the great outdoors and traveling.

Gavin Yager

Gavin Yager, DVM

Dr. Gavin Yager graduated from the Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010 and practiced for 3.5 years in northwest Iowa before joining AMVC in 2014. Gavin enjoys a mixed animal focus, primarily working with beef feedlot, cow-calf and swine production. He is a member of the American Association of Swine Veterinarians, Iowa Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association. Gavin returned to his hometown of Audubon with his wife, Katie, and three children:  Landen, Grayson, and Maryn. Their furry family includes a dog, cat, and chickens. He enjoys cheering on the Iowa State Cyclones, fishing, hunting, and golfing.

Amanda Myers

Amanda Miller, DVM

Dr. Amanda Miller is originally from northeast Iowa, where she grew up on her family's cattle farm. She is a 2015 graduate of Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine, and a member of the Iowa Veterinary Medical Association and the American Association of Bovine Practitioners. Amanda is serving primarily our small animal clients. She enjoys playing with her chocolate lab, Brantley, reading, being outside and watching the Iowa State Cyclones.

johnJohn Greving, DVM

Dr. John Greving joined the AMVC Manning Clinic in early 2017. He is originally from Willey, Iowa, and graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. He comes to AMVC with 3.5 years of veterinary experience from the DeWitt Veterinary Clinic. His interest is in production medicine with an emphasis in cow/calf, feedlot and reproductive services. He is a member of the American Association of Bovine Veterinarians and the American Association of Swine Veterinarians. In John's spare time, he enjoys fishing, traveling and spending time with his family. John and his wife, Shelly, have three children: Olivia, Andrew and Easton.

Seth Worthington, DVMDr. Seth Worthington

Dr. Seth Worthington is originally from Pleasantville, Iowa where he grew up on his family’s farm. He graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013 and is a member for the American Association of Bovine Practitioners. Seth joined AMVC with over seven years of mix animal veterinary experience and focuses on beef cattle and small animal cases. Seth and his wife, Katie, have two sons: Henry and Joseph.
