The annual Manning Chamber of Commerce Homecoming Brat Stand was a great success. This year, Dr. John Greving and AMVC chaired the event. There was a lot of preparation before the lunch could be served, as there were lots of pre-orders as area businesses bought lunch for their employees.
The day was successful because of the team of volunteers that helped throughout the morning and afternoon. The meal was served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The crowd enjoyed their lunch of Arcadia brats, chips, pop and dessert at the Manning VFW Hall before heading to the pep assembly and parade.
The annual brat stand has been occurring for over 30 years.
