A market hog was auctioned off at the Bottineau County Fair last week with $575 being raised to help the local 4-Hers cover their expenses of showing at the North Dakota State Fair.
The highest bid went to Steve Schroeder with United Honey. The money donated has been split between all six 4-H clubs in Bottineau County to help decrease the kids’ cost of exhibiting at the state fair next month.
The pig was donated by Turtle Mountain Pork and AMVC Management Services.
