AMVC speaks with Scranton High School Students

posted on Friday, May 15, 2015 in North Region News

This week, Paige Austing, our North Dakota HR/PR coordinator spoke with a sophomore agriculture class and FFA members at the Scanton High School in North Dakota. Paige discussed who AMVC is and what we do, as well as told them about one of the sow farms that is ten minutes from the school. The students asked great questions about the swine industry like, “How many piglets are usually in a litter?” and “How many days do the piglets stay with the mother until they are weaned?” AMVC is proud to educate students who are our future leaders in agriculture.
