Students learn about pigs during National Pork Month

posted on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 in East Region News

AMVC celebrated National Pork Month by educating animal science students at North Montgomery High School in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Taylor Pullen, AMVC human resources/public relations specialist, shared what we do on the farm every day as well as told them about AMVC Crawfordsville, our largest sow farm, that is ten minutes from the school. Every student in the class participated and asked questions. Most students were curious where the weaned piglets go and learned they stay in Indiana. AMVC is dedicated to informing students about the swine industry.
