AMVC employees donated money to the Mt. Ayr Food Pantry to help with various projects this winter. Each Christmas, the employees choose charities that make a difference in the lives of people in the community and contribute to the cause on behalf of the partners of AMVC.

Kris Spurrier, volunteer at the food bank, commented that the monetary donation will be used to buy supplies for the food bank and to help families pay utilities through the pantry's crisis assistance program.

"We are humbled to be truly a part of the community and to give back this holiday season. It's a great way for us to help out those that are a bit less fortunate," said Joe Clemens, AMVC employee and sow farm manager at Aries Sow.

AMVC employees also presented similar donations to organizations in communities where AMVC manages sow farms in Iowa, Indiana, Ohio, North Dakota, Colorado and Wyoming. In Mt Ayr, AMVC manages Aries Sow, a breed-to-wean sow farm.
