MATURA receives donations in honor of the partners of AMVC
December 22, 2014 — Creston, Iowa— The holiday season is in full swing, and amongst the hustle and bustle, office employees at AMVC Management Services and AMVC Veterinary Services donated gifts to the MATURA Action Corporation Adopt-A-Family project in Creston. Each year, the employees choose a charity that makes a difference in the lives of people who could use a brighter Christmas and contribute to the cause on behalf of the partners of AMVC. AMVC employees are humbled to be truly a part of the community and help spread some extra Christmas spirit.
“This is a great way for us to help out those that are a bit less fortunate and ensure they have a good Christmas, and honor the partners,” said Dean Packard, chair of the Christmas committee at AMVC.
Marcy Lane, outreach director for MATURA, was gracious for the donation.
“Due to the generous people in the community helping to provide toys and gifts, many children will be able to have Christmas gifts under their tree.” said Lane. This Christmas season, MATURA Action Corporation was able to help 86 families in the area.
Similar donations were also presented to organizations near communities where AMVC manages sow farms in Iowa, Indiana, Ohio, North Dakota and Wyoming. In the Creston area, AMVC Management Services manages Taurus Sow near Lenox and Aries Sow in Mount Ayr.
