On September 2, the Lenox Chamber of Commerce in Lenox, Iowa held their monthly meeting. Alicia Humphrey and Dan Weber presented to the group an overview of the swine industry and the impact of Taurus Sow in their community. They discussed how the size and types of farms have changed and what happens on a daily basis inside the farm. They talked about how AMVC carries out the National Pork Board WE CARE principles. The group asked great questions and all members recieved pork coupons and recipes on behalf of the Iowa Pork Association. Taurus Sow, LLC is located in Lenox and is a 4,500 head breed to wean sow farm.
