Dr. Josh Ellingson, swine veterinarian and partner of AMVC recently spoke with the Iowa Farm Bureau Spokesman newspaper about the new Veterinary Feed Directive (VFD) rule issued by the Food and Drug Administration. Ellingson provided a veterinary perspective on the matter reminding pork producers to have open lines of communication with their veterinarian and to find a veterinarian who brings value to your operation.
