AMVC Veterinary Services is proud to announce and welcome Dr. John Greving, DVM, as a mixed animal veterinarian to the Manning Clinic.
Greving brings with him over three years of veterinary experience from DeWitt Veterinary Clinic in DeWitt, Iowa. His background is diverse, as he has previously served in the United States Marine Corps for four years as an aviation ordnance man for fighter squadron VMFA 312 and was a swine husbandry educator for Pfizer Animal Health for three years.
As a 2013 graduate of Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine, his veterinary passion lies in production medicine with an emphasis in cow/calf, feedlot, and reproductive services. He is a member of the American Association of Bovine Veterinarians and American Association of Swine Veterinarians.
“I’m excited to join the staff at the AMVC Manning Veterinary Clinic as it’s a well-established practice who provides progressive services to area livestock producers. Manning is an excellent community and I am looking forward to meeting and working with clients and community members,” said Greving.
Having grown up in Willey, Iowa, Greving is excited to be back in the area. John, along with his wife, Shelly, have three children: Olivia, 8, Andrew, 5, and Easton, 2. Their children are attending IKM-Manning Schools.
The community is invited to welcome Dr. John by attending an open house on Thursday, January 26, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the AMVC Manning Veterinary Clinic located at 400 West Street, Manning.
