Audubon, IA – AMVC Veterinary Services is pleased to announce Dr. Seth Worthington has joined the Audubon clinic as a mixed animal veterinarian.
A Pleasantville, Iowa native, Worthington grew up on his family’s farm and his time spent raising many different animals lead to his interest in veterinary medicine. He graduated from Luther College with his Bachelor of Arts degree in biology and went on to graduate from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. For the past seven years, he practiced in southeast Nebraska and in Corydon, Iowa at the Corydon Veterinary Clinic.
Worthington is a member of the American Association of Bovine Practitioners and enjoys working with large animal producers on animal nutrition and parasite management. He also takes a special interest in ophthalmology and small animal medicine cases.
“I’m excited to join the AMVC team at the Audubon Veterinary Clinic. The staff, clients and community members have been very welcoming, and I look forward to continuing to get to know the people of Audubon.” said Worthington.
Seth, and his wife, Katie, have two sons: Henry (first grade) and Joseph (preschool). They live in Audubon County and their children are attending Audubon Community Schools.
