Last week, AMVC employee, Angela Larison, was invited to be the guest reader at the Family Resource Center in Mount Ayr for their weekly volunteer led Storytime. In honor of October being Pork Month, Larison read Welcome to Our Farm, a storybook about a visit to a pig farm, to the two and three year-olds classroom. Larison is a member of AMVC’s Leadership Development Program and works at Aries Sow, a sow farm owned and managed by AMVC, in Mount Ayr.
