October is National Pork Month, and is the perfect time to recognize all pig farmers for their hard work and, of course, enjoy more bacon. Last week at the Mount Ayr High School football game, AMVC and Aries Sow partnered with the Athletic Boosters and helped the Mount Ayr community celebrate by adding bacon to sandwiches sold in the food stand. The bacon was served on any sandwich free of charge. The bacon was sponsored by AMVC Management Services and Aries Sow. Aries Sow is a 2,240 head breed to wean sow farm in Mt. Ayr that is managed by AMVC Management Services.
