AMVC Management Services recently recognized Leo Kenkel, an employee from Southwest Pork who retired after 19 years with AMVC.

Kenkel started his AMVC career in October of 1998 and worked in the breeding department within the 5,000 head sow farm in Harlan.

“In today’s workforce it is hard to find employees with the loyalty and longevity Leo has exhibited. It has been a pleasure to work with Leo and to have him on our team. His patient demeanor and work ethic was a perfect match for our breeding department,” commented AMVC production manager, Dean Packard.

Kenkel and his wife, Alice, reside in rural Jacksonville.

AMVC is proud to have talented and dedicated employees who take pride in their work, as well as embody the company mission of feeding a growing population.

AMVC, based out of Audubon, employs over 550 employees and manages 117,500 sows across seven states.
