AMVC Management Services, a diversified swine management company, recently promoted Lacey Bost of Chesterfield, to Sow Farm Manager at Legend Gilt, a gilt multiplication farm near Rockbridge.

As a sow farm manager, Bost is responsible for providing daily leadership and direction to her team of six employees, as well as, overseeing and monitoring the farm’s production performance.

“Lacey brings great communication and team building skills to the position. I’ve watched her lead the farrowing team and they achieved great production. I am looking forward to mentoring her and seeing the farm be as successful as possible,” said Mike Mullady, AMVC Sow Production Manager.

Bost grew up on a farrow to finish pig farm and has always enjoyed working with animals. Before starting at AMVC, she was a dairy herd manager. She began her AMVC career in the fall of 2018 as a swine specialist and was previously on the farm’s leadership team as the barn’s farrowing lead.

Lacey and her husband, Kyle, have a one-year old son, Wyatt, and reside in Chesterfield.

AMVC Management Services manages Legend Gilt. AMVC is headquartered in Audubon, Iowa, and has a swine management presence in ten states.
