AMVC participates in DMACC Career Discovery Day

The DMACC Carroll Campus hosted a Career Discovery Day for area high school students from eight different schools. Over 200 students attended the event on February 18, 2020. The whole purpose of the day was to allow students to explore local careers and to bring awareness of the opportunities. Students rotated to different sessions and tours. AMVC Management Services was the guest for the animal science session. During the day, AMVC public relations coordinator, Alicia Humphrey, spoke with over 50 students about the swine industry and career opportunities at AMVC. The students worked in teams and completed a lock box activity. They had to solving pork trivia puzzles to unlock the locks
