Audubon Community Organizations Receive Donations from AMVC

Each Christmas, AMVC veterinary, nutritional and management services employees choose charities that make a difference in the lives of people in the community and contribute to the cause on behalf of the partners of AMVC. This year in Audubon several bags of groceries were donated to the Caring and Sharing program and money was contributed to support the New Opportunities holiday food baskets.

Tiffany Steensen, program coordinator at New Opportunities was gracious for the monetary donation.

"With this donation, we now have the funds to fill half of our food baskets. We rely on community donations to make it possible," said Steensen.

The employees at AMVC believe there is no better way to celebrate the holidays than by helping others.

"We are humbled to be truly a part of the community and to give back this holiday season. It's a great way for us to help feed those in need and to honor the partners," said Alicia Humphrey, public relations coordinator at AMVC Management Services.

AMVC employees also presented similar donations to organizations in communities where AMVC manages sow farms in western and southern Iowa, Indiana, Ohio, North Dakota, Colorado and Wyoming.
