The holidays are right around the corner, and amongst the preparations for Christmas, AMVC staff collected money to be used to spread Christmas cheer on behalf of the partners of AMVC. Each year, AMVC employees choose a variety of charities to help those less fortunate.

The Nourish program is using the money to purchase an extra food item for each of the 230 students in the program.

AMVC employees are humbled to give back to Montgomery County and help spread some extra Christmas spirit.

“At AMVC our company motto is doing the right thing every day. As a group, we could not think of a better way to exemplify how much we care about our communities and to honor the partners. It is a great way for us make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate and ensure they have a good Christmas,” said Alicia Humphrey, chair of the Christmas committee at AMVC.

Similar monetary donations were also presented to four other charities across Iowa and Wyoming. AMVC has three sow farms in close proximity to Montgomery County.
