Dr. Bob BlommeBob Blomme, DVM

Dr. Robert (Bob) Blomme is a 1987 ISU graduate in Farm Operations.  He completed his DVM at the same institution in 1990.  Bob and his wife Linda are both natives of Victor, IA and have been married since 1988. They are the parents of Courtney, Jay, Allison, and Andrew.  Bob has a food animal interest, regularly serving cattle and swine clients.  Bob also has an interest in animal handling and behavior.  Hobbies include farming, American history, and ISU athletics.


Dr. Jodie PettitJodie Pettit, DVM

Dr. Jodie Pettit graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001 and is a past President of the Iowa Veterinary Medical Association. Currently, she represents Iowa in the American Veterinary Medical Association House of Delegates. She also serves on the ISU Veterinary Diagnostic and Preventive Animal Medicine Advisory Board and the Timber Creek Charities Board of Directors. Her special interests include equine medicine, food animal surgery, and large animal reproduction. Jodie and her husband Rick have a beef cattle herd, four horses, several cats, and a spoiled rotten black lab named Kansas. Jodie enjoys riding Harley, riding horses, beekeeping, and hunting in her free time.


Dr. Travis HargensTravis Hargens, DVM

Originally from Denison, IA, Dr. Travis Hargens is a 2008 graduate of Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine. He joined AMVC in 2011 and focuses on food production animal veterinary medicine with an emphasis on feedlot and cow/calf operations. He also has a passion for bovine reproduction, including embryo transfer and in vitro fertilization services. Travis is American Embryo Transfer Association certified. Before joining AMVC, Travis worked in Oklahoma serving stocker, cow/calf, and feedlot operations. Travis and his wife, Kate, have four children, Gage, twins Jack and Millie, and Hailey. The Hargens family enjoys being in the great outdoors and traveling.


Dr. Gavin YagerGavin Yager, DVM

Dr. Gavin Yager graduated from Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. He practiced for 3.5 years in northwest Iowa before joining AMVC in 2014. Gavin enjoys a mixed animal focus, primarily working in beef feedlot, cow-calf, and swine production. He is a member of the American Association of Swine Veterinarians, Iowa Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Veterinary Medical Association. Gavin returned to his hometown of Audubon with his wife, Katie, and three children: Landen, Grayson, and Maryn. Their furry family includes dogs and cats. He enjoys cheering on the Iowa State Cyclones, fishing, hunting, and golfing.


Dr. Amanda MillerAmanda Miller, DVM

Dr. Amanda Miller is originally from northeast Iowa, where she grew up on her family's cattle farm. She is a 2015 graduate of Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine and a member of the Iowa Veterinary Medical Association and the American Association of Bovine Practitioners. Amanda is serving primarily our small animal clients. She enjoys working with her husband and sons on their farm outside of Manilla, IA.


Dr. John GrevingJohn Greving, DVM

Dr. John Greving joined the AMVC Manning Clinic in early 2017. He is originally from Willey, Iowa, and graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. His interest is in production animal medicine, especially cow/calf, feedlot, and reproductive services. John is a member of the American Association of Bovine Veterinarians and the American Association of Swine Veterinarians. Before joining AMVC, he practiced at DeWitt Veterinary Clinic in DeWitt, IA. He enjoys fishing, traveling, and spending time with his family in his spare time. John and his wife, Shelly, have three children: Olivia, Andrew, and Easton.


Dr. Seth WorthingtonSeth Worthington, DVM

Dr. Seth Worthington is originally from Pleasantville, Iowa, where he grew up on his family's farm. Seth joined AMVC in 2020 with over seven years of mixed animal veterinary experience and focuses on beef cattle and small animal cases. He graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013 and is a member of the American Association of Bovine Practitioners. Seth and his wife, Katie, have two sons: Henry and Joseph.


Dr. Seth WorthingtonCalie Burgart, DVM 

Originally from Ireton, IA, Dr. Calie Burgart is a 2022 Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine graduate. She joined AMVC as a mixed animal veterinarian based out of the Audubon clinic. Calie enjoys cheering on the cyclones with her husband, Tommy, sewing, and mountain biking in her free time.
