AMVC Gives a Ham

posted on Monday, December 30, 2019 in Central Region News

Between Giving Tuesday and Christmas, pig farmers are encouraged to participate in National Pork Board’s Hams Across America campaign. It’s the perfect time of year for pig farmers to show their commitment to the community and to pay it forward by donating a ham to someone who deserves recognition or is in need.

AMVC employees at Aries Sow in Mount Ayr, Iowa, decided the 4-H leaders in Worth County were very deserving. AMVC employees Angela Larison and Ricky Gresham presented the ham to the group. AMVC, a diversified swine management company, owns and manages Aries Sow in southern Iowa.
