AMVC is pleased to announce the 2018 AMVC scholarship winners. This year, we honored 11 students with a monetary award and sweatshirt and five students with a sweatshirt, as they recently joined the AMVC team. The award winners hail from eight high schools across three states.
The AMVC scholarship is designed to promote the continuing education of our student employees in their field of choice. There is no scholarship application for this award, as our graduating high school student employees received a scholarship simply for being an AMVC employee throughout their high school career. The scholarship amount is determined on the length of employment with AMVC, with the maximum award of $1,000. In conjunction with our shareholders, this year we awarded $6,400 in scholarships.
