Hughes celebrates 10 years with AMVC

AMVC Management Services recently recognized employees who achieved a career milestone with the company. Among the recipients was Justin Hughes of Rochester, who celebrated ten years with AMVC. Hughes manages AMVC Round Barn, a breed to wean sow farm in Rochester, where he oversees the daily care of all animals and his team of employees, as well as, monitors overall production.

Over the last decade, Hughes has worked in a variety of roles at the farm. Previously, he was the farm’s breeding manager before he was promoted to farm manager two years ago.

AMVC is proud to have talented employees who take pride in their work and are committed to being a solution driven problem solvers in the industry.

“Justin is a key leader in making the farm successful. He is passionate about caring for pigs and working with his team. We congratulate him on this honor and are very proud of his hard work and dedication,” commented Dr. Joel Sparks, D.V.M., AMVC production manager.

Hughes and his wife, Trista, reside in Rochester with their four children.

AMVC Management Services, based out of Audubon, Iowa, employs over 550 employees and manages 117,500 sows across seven states.
