Dawn Koch is named AMVC sow farm manager

AMVC Management Services, a diversified swine management company, recently hired Dawn Koch of Milford as Sow Farm Manager at Primrose Pork, a 2,500 head sow farm near Primghar.

Koch has a strong swine background as she began working with pigs in 1996. She brings with her a wealth of experience from her previous on-farm leadership positions including breeding and farrowing lead roles and assistant manager.

In this sow farm manager role, Koch will be responsible for providing daily leadership and direction to her team of employees, as well as, overseeing and monitoring the farm’s production performance.


“Dawn has a strong work ethic and a determined attitude. She is very passionate and knowledgeable, and I am excited to have her as a leader on our farm management team,” said Dan Weber, AMVC Sow Production Manager.

AMVC Management Services manages Primrose Pork. AMVC is headquartered in Audubon, Iowa, and has a swine management presence in ten states.
