The students at Sugar Creek Elementary held a Kiss the Pig contest to raise money for Riley's Children Hospital in Indianapolis.The school approached our local farm in Crawfordsville about having a piglet donated for the event, and we agreed as the project was going towards a great cause.
The contest was set up so which ever teacher had the most donations in their jar would have to kiss a pig. The lucky staff member to kiss the piglet was principle, Mrs. McCoy. The students' were so excited to see their principle kiss a pig. The piglet was donated by AMVC Crawfordsville, as we have children in the AMVC family attending Sugar Creek Elementary.
A local family received the piglet after the event.
