AMVC Management Services recently recognized employees who achieved a career milestone with the company. Among the recipients was Joseph Clemens, Aries Sow farm manager, who celebrated his tenth work anniversary with AMVC.

Clemens started his AMVC career as a swine specialist in northwest Iowa and then became an assistant breeding manager at a sow farm in western Iowa before taking on the sow farm manager role at Aries Sow in Mount Ayr. He has been a sow farm manager for AMVC for the past five years, where he is responsible for a team of nine employees and the care and production of 2,200 sows.

“Joe is extremely passionate about the swine industry and his role in feeding the world. It has been rewarding to mentor him and see him develop in his leadership role, commented AMVC production manager, Dan Weber.

Clemens and his wife, Amanda, along with their two sons, Cordell and Gage, reside in Mount Ayr.

AMVC is proud to have talented and dedicated employees who take pride in their work, as well as embody the company mission of feeding a growing population.
