We are proud to be pork producers in the community, and it is great to see consumers enjoying the high quality and safe products we work hard to produce. Even though ham is a popular purchase this time of year for consumers, Alicia Humphrey, AMVC public relations coordinator, spent a morning at the local Hy-Vee grocery store in Creston, Iowa, passing out coupons, recipes and meat thermometers to shoppers to encourage them to consume more pork. The materials were courtesy of the Iowa Pork Producers Association and a special thank you to Hy-Vee for hosting us.
